Smyth & Co are seeking aGeneral Managerwith exceptional leadership skills, a passion for Mediterranean cuisine, and the experience to handle high-volume service while maintaining the highest quality standards.If you have a track record of leading a team in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant, and you're looking to make your mark in a world-class Mediterranean dining destination, we want you to join this team.What You’ll Be DoingOverseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service for every guest.Managing a team of front-of-house and back-of-house professionals, inspiring them to consistently deliver outstanding experiences.Maintaining top-tier standards of quality while handling a high-volume environment (300+ covers).Delivering an unforgettable guest experience that showcases the best of Mediterranean food and hospitality.Training, mentoring, and developing the team to foster a culture of excellence and growth.Collaborating with the head chef and culinary team to ensure the menu reflects the finest Mediterranean flavours and seasonal produce.Ensuring smooth communication between all departments to achieve operational excellence.Managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability while never compromising on quality or service.What We’re Looking ForExperience : Proven experience in a high-volume restaurant, ideally with Mediterranean or similar cuisine. You've led a large team and successfully managed service for 300+ covers.Leadership : A natural leader who can motivate and inspire a diverse team. You know how to get the best out of people and build a strong, cohesive team culture.Passion for Mediterranean Food : A deep love for Mediterranean cuisine and the ability to create an authentic dining experience that celebrates the region's rich food culture.Guest-Centric Focus : You understand that the guest experience is everything.
