The Financial Controller plans, forecasts, reports, analyzes, and challenges Financial KPIs and their main driver for services, projects and line cost centers in close collaboration with the business, and coordinates improvement measures. He/she/they advises and supports managers in all financial controlling topics. Furthermore, the Financial Controller is responsible for implementation of controlling processes and systems and ensuring compliance to controlling‑relevant standards.What You DoLead financial planning, forecasting and budgeting processes (annual, quarterly, monthly) and develop financial targets to deliver planbook inputs for budget cycles.Monitor actuals vs. plan, analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.Analyze financial performance, identifying key drivers, risks, opportunities and create compelling financial dashboards and reports for stakeholders at all levels.Provide transparent, visual insights to enable strategic decision‑making.Support and challenge IT delivery teams with financial analysis and business case evaluation and advise management on financial implications of major initiatives and projects.Drive continuous improvement in controlling processes, methods, and systems as well as managing pricing processes and support cost calculations.Oversee billing processes, invoice approvals, service descriptions, coordinate transfer pricing compliance and liaise with procurement.What You Bring3‑5 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or accounting with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.Experienced in the application of systems relevant for Controlling, e.g. SAP FI‑CO/BW.Deep understanding of controlling principles and financial KPIs.Experience with IT service management and technology organisations (preferred).Proven ability to create impactful financial dashboards and visualisations with an analytical mindset and ability to synthesize complex information from multiple sources.Strong business acumen and ability to challenge assumptions constructively as well as excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.Self‑starter who thrives working independently while collaborating cross‑functionally and an innovative thinker who brings fresh perspectives to existing processes.Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use.What We OfferWe offer a hybrid work model which recognises the value of striking a balance between in‑person collaboration and remote working, including up to 25 days per year working from abroad.We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares programme and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).From career development and digital learning programmes to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.Commitment to Integrity, Fairness & InclusionAllianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
