The role reports to the Major Account Property Team Leader and focuses on setting and achieving underwriting profit goals in line with Chubb’s business plan for the Major Account Segment.Key ResponsibilitiesUnderwrite new business and renewals according to underwriting guidelines, specified budget, and local business plan for Fire risks.Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Iberia & Property Underwriting Manager to define and build the underwriting strategy and forecast for Fire.Ensure quality control within the defined area of responsibility by undertaking quantitative underwriting review to develop the best performing segments in Fire.Target and define a visit plan to brokers, represent Chubb, reinforce the brand in the broker community, and support footprint growth in the Fire market.Portfolio and pipeline management for Fire accounts.Maximize cross‑selling in collaboration with other lines of business.Stay in sync with all policies, controls, authorities, and reporting requirements.Work within the framework of Chubb service standards, meeting company standards in respect of policy documentation, timeframe for quoting new and renewal business, and compliance issues.QualificationsSpanish native or bilingual.
