Job Description:Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practicesEstablishes a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counsels managers on candidate selection; conducts and analyzes exit interviews; and recommends changesAdvise on appropriate remuneration and benefits through analysis of data and trends and in coordination with corporate Comp and BensNegotiate and implement private health insurance, death in service benefit, income protection, pensions and other staff benefitsManage and ensure data integrity of the HR database and associated processes including goal setting and performance evaluation Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current recordsInterpret legislation and draft compliant employment contracts, policies and agreements.Manage compensation process with leaders for the regionEstablishes constructive relationship with the local Work council Send Finance/payroll teams payroll relevant data (new starters, leavers, pay changes, promotions etc.) for paymentWork with L&D to hold Talent Reviews and ensure that there is appropriate succession planning in place for critical jobsWork with L&D to develop and coordinate the delivery of training programsCoach and support managers to operate a fair but firm process in respect of underperforming staff, and deal with people issues effectivelyWork with Managers to identify and introduce organisational changeManage GDPR requirementsPuede obtener más detalles sobre la naturaleza de esta vacante y lo que se espera de los solicitantes leyendo la información a continuación.Qualifications and Skills:BS Degree (Business, HR or related field) or similar work experience required 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations in Spain (mandatory), Italy, Greece & Croatia (preferably)Hiring and human resources management skillsExperience in benefits administration, performance management, communication processes, compensation and wage structure, supporting diversity, classifying employeesVery good knowledge of employment law Advanced English and Spanish (speaking and writing) Business and financial acumenProject Management and leadership skillsStrong IT skills and good experience with HRM databases e.g. SuccessFactors Strong communication skills and confidence with executive level presentationsUPL offers:A dynamic and pleasant work environment, with lots of variation in your day-to-day activities.
