Bright Sunday is looking for a driven, detail-oriented Solar PV Engineer to join our team in SpainWe’re a fast growing company, on a mission to lower global CO2 emissions by making the switch to clean energy easy and profitable for commercial and industrial clients.Descubra si esta oportunidad es adecuada para usted leyendo toda la información que sigue a continuación.If you love seeing your projects come to life and thrive on solving complex problems, you'll be the perfect fit to manage the full lifecycle of our high-impact Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).You'll be working closely with our international project management team and partners, delivering top-tier, custom solar solutions.This role is your chance to turn your engineering background into meaningful climate actionWhat you will be doingSolar Design Analyst: Analyzing and designing cutting-edge PV systems, analysing electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications that guarantee peak performance and adhere to the highest safety standards.Site Scout & Strategist: Visiting sites to assess feasibility, determine optimal panel placement, and size the systems perfectly based on client energy needs and environmental factors.Fault Finder & Optimiser: Diving into system performance data (on-site and remote) to identify issues, troubleshoot faults, and implement corrective actions that maximize energy output and ensure reliable, long-term operation.Installation Co-Pilot: Working hand-in-hand with project managers and contractors, overseeing the installation process, and officially commissioning new solar and energy storage systems.Future-Proofing: Researching the newest trends and technologies in solar and storage (think BESS), helping us continuously improve our designs and processes.Documentation Keeper: Preparing essential technical reports and keeping all system documentation flawless and up-to-date.What you need to bringEducation: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.Core Knowledge: Knowledge about the design, installation, and maintenance of commercial solar electric systems, including strong knowledge of industry standards.Software Skills: Knowledge about industry-standard design tools like PVsyst and PV Sol.Bonus Power-Up: Experience with energy storage systems (batteries, inverters) and hybrid setups, PRL course, works on heights course, elevator platform license and drone piloting license are a huge plusEssential Skills: Work ethics is key Excellent problem-solving abilities, an incredible eye for detail, and the ability to manage your work independently while collaborating seamlessly with a team.Driver’s license: Category B is mandatory.Language: Proficiency in Spanish and English is mandatory- this is key for our multi-cultural teamThe Bright Sunday AdvantageGrowth: Join a fast growing company and have access to a structured, hands-on training and mentorship from a highly experienced technical team.Culture: A dynamic, friendly, and truly multi-cultural work environment.We are good at rewarding high performers.Flexibility: Enjoy a flexible Hybrid Work model- balance your professional and personal lifeLocation: Based in Spain (we prefer candidates in Madrid or Valladolid). xsgfvud Ready to make a difference?If you're excited to drive the renewable energy transition in the commercial sector, we want to hear from youTo Apply: Send your resume and cover letter to by January 16, 2026.
