Thanks to the rapid development of our activities and the opening of new offices in Europe and Asia, we offer you great opportunities to develop your career, as well as acquire new skills in the logistics field.AsstrA invites you to work within an ambitious teamNow we are looking for a Project Manager (Project Logistics) in our office in MadridResponsibilitiesTo coordinate a seamless flow of cargo from the point of contractual origin to destination;To verify and evaluate the technical suitability of the proposed method of transport;To review, study and then implement an action plan on the conditions contained therein;Providing the relevant expert knowledge across solutions and logistics industry;To attend and chair project progress meetings, meetings at Client’s, the Seller’s / Supplier’s facilities, Consolidation and Marshalling Yards, Job Site or other locations to discuss forthcoming shipping operations and logistical planning;To manage, oversee and audit where necessary all staff, sub-contractors, and their interface;To act as a direct liaise for IPL for all cargo movements and report to Customers;To manage and prepare Commercial and Technical offers for internal and external Customers;To ensure that Project approved Shipping Plan is obtained for all transportation and freight expenditure ahead of actual movements in accordance with the pre-set criteria;To jointly develop and agree the project specific working procedures;To manage, control and audit all project job files;To introduce new Customers and business opportunities to AsstrA / IPL, where possible;To engage price and rate negotiations with service providers, sub-contractors and carriers as required and as directed. xsgfvud RequirementsDeep knowledge of transport and freight forwarding industry;Experience in Project management in the logistics industry and project cargo transportation;Higher education – economy/ marketing/ finance/ management/ logistics/ transport;Confident level of English and Spanish;Proved organizational skills, leadership qualities;Exceptional problem solving and negotiation skills;Strategic thinking, proactivity and responsibility;Good team‑working competences.We OfferOpportunity to develop and expand knowledge by working in a multicultural and dynamic environment;Professional development;Individual on‑boarding plan and mentor;Internal trainings, participation in internal projects and contests;Corporate training center (AsstrA focuses on continuous professional development of employees);Career development within the grading system;“Birthday party” – extra free day.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionProject Management and Information TechnologyIndustriesTransportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage#J-18808-Ljbffr
