RBI isolates uncategorized and risky websites for our Next Gen Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Security Service Edge (SSE) solutions. Known safe sites are allowed, known bad sites are blocked, and risky websites are isolated for safe viewing within one cloud platform, one console, and one policy engine.What\u2019s in it for youAs a member of the Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) team you will work cross-functionally to build and scale the last line of defense for corporate browsing. You will solve challenging problems in distributed systems at scale, including performance, scalability, high availability, monitoring, visibility and analytics. You will be exposed to advanced Web technologies such as Chromium and Chromium Embedded Framework and highly distributed network features.ResponsibilitiesBuilding a Remote Browser Isolation service that protects and isolates the user from any possible harm while browsingBuilding software to provide a scalable framework supporting enablement and rapid deployment of distributed applications and services in a microservice architectureWorking with product and engineering managers to define and implement the product, collaborating with architects for high-level and detailed design, and coordinating with other teams to complete the solutionIntegrate with other features like DLP and Threat protection, Enterprise Browser, connectors and moreEnsuring product resiliency and sustainabilityCoaching, mentoring and encouraging the growth and career progression of team membersEstablishing best practices and code hygiene in software developmentRequired Skills And Experience15+ years of work experience, including extensive experience building desktop and high-performance networking software and cloud servicesExperience in the development of customer-facing productsArchitectural experience with building frameworks for rapid deployment and expansionStrong design skills and system design experience in a Linux environmentExperience in multi-threaded, multi-component complex systemsGood understanding of data structures and algorithmsGood understanding of distributed systems and networking technologiesGood understanding of image and audio processing, encoding and decoding and transmission on low latency systemsStrong programming knowledge xsgfvud of one of the following: C/C++, Go, PythonAbility to suggest coding best practices and bring in effective code review feedbackFlexible in coordinating with global teams and encouraging round-the-clock efficiencyAbility to coach, mentor and encourage growth and career progress of team membersAdditional Skill and KnowledgeStrong verbal and written communication skills.
