About the Position

We are looking for a Service Technician for an international company in the renewable energy sector. This is a remote position , with frequent travel across Spain to provide technical support directly at clients’ photovoltaic plants.

This professional will be responsible for ensuring the correct operation of high-power solar inverters , taking part in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities in the field. Additionally, this person will act as a technical reference for customers during service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain industrial-scale solar inverter systems.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.

• Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety protocols during all interventions.

• Coordinate service activities with on-site teams and manage materials and spare parts.

• Represent the technical service team and ensure professional communication with customers at all times.

Essential Requirements

• Higher Technical Certificate in Electricity or Renewable Energies

• Certified Training Electrical Risk & RD 614/2001

• 2+ years of experience in power electronics, especially medium-voltage systems (service, manufacturing or testing)

• Knowledge of solar inverters , transformers and photovoltaic modules

• PRL 60h (Basic Level) + Second PRL Cycle 20h (Responsible and Execution Technicians)

• Experience working on-site and in various environmental conditions

• Knowledge and correct application of LOTO procedures

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently (around 70%)

• Strong communication skills

• Fluent Spanish and English , both written and spoken
