General Manager - Dairy Ingredients (Spain)

We are searching for an experienced General Manager to take responsibility for the operations of a growing dairy ingredients business with an international presence. The successful candidate will lead the production facility near Madrid, ensuring operational excellence, developing people, and securing sustainable long-term growth.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of the production site

- Drive efficiency and maintain consistent product quality

- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team

- Control budgets, costs, and overall financial performance

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

- Define and implement operational strategies in line with business objectives

- Work with senior leadership to identify and deliver on growth opportunities

Profile

- Senior operational leadership experience in the dairy ingredients or food processing sector

- Strong technical knowledge of dairy processing and production flows

- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver performance improvements

- Financial and analytical competence, including direct P&L responsibility

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

- Fluent in English;
Spanish language skillspreferred

- Degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related discipline;
postgraduate study a plus
