Technical Skills:

- 10+ years of experience in software development and at least 2 to 3+ years as a Databricks, PostgreSQL developer for a large/high volume project.
- Though the DB is Postgre, but any resource who spend good amount of his time with Oracle or other DB and have 2 to 3 years of experience with Postgre DB should also be fine.
- Should have worked on Analytical projects. Should be able to understand the underline data, the relevance of data, use of data for a given hypothesis.
- Should write queries, procedures…etc. to achieve the hypothesis.
- Should be mindful of the performance and other aspects of the solution presented to the team.
- Any experience working on CRM related projects would be preferred.
- Strong database fundamentals and has experience dealing with database performance tuning, bottlenecks, and database ER modeling, databases (PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels.
- Experienced with PostgreSQL & PostgreSQL Architecture.
- Implement and maintain database code in the form of tables, stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc.
- Measure database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues, IO bottlenecks.
- Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON

Should know software development and Databricks migration process
