Hiring across the UK and Europe | Talent Acquisition Coordinator | HR IT Recruitment

Technical Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development and at least 2 to 3+ years as a Databricks, PostgreSQL developer for large/high volume projects.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL is essential; candidates with substantial experience in Oracle or other databases, along with 2 to 3 years in PostgreSQL, are also suitable.
  • Experience working on analytical projects, understanding underlying data, data relevance, and data use for hypotheses.
  • Proficient in writing queries, procedures, etc., to test hypotheses.
  • Awareness of performance considerations and other aspects of database solutions.
  • Experience with CRM-related projects is a plus.
  • Strong database fundamentals, including performance tuning, bottleneck resolution, ER modeling, and database management (PostgreSQL).
  • Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL architecture and implementation of database code such as tables, stored procedures, scripts, views, triggers, etc.
  • Ability to measure database performance and troubleshoot complex issues like IO bottlenecks.
  • Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL's support for JSON.

Process Skills:

Understanding of software development and Databricks migration processes.
