Additionally, in 2024 we were awarded the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, which recognizes the most engaged workplace cultures in the world.*### **Key Responsibilities*** Collaborate with the R&D team in the development of new projects: + Operate manual lathes and milling machines for prototype creation and part reprocessing. + Assemble and develop prototypes, applying analytical skills to suggest solutions and alternatives. + Conduct tests and trials on prototypes and existing products.* Work jointly with R&D and Quality departments on the industrialization of new products and the improvement of existing ones: + Assist in the development and assembly of machinery and tooling to enhance manufacturing processes.* Transfer knowledge and assembly processes of new products to the production line.* Support the study, improvement, and troubleshooting of production issues related to existing products.### **Technical Skills*** Proficient in operating lathes, milling machines, drills, and other manufacturing equipment.* Solid understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.* Skilled in manual assembly work.* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication.* Experience liaising with suppliers.* Intermediate proficiency in English.### **Personal Attributes*** Proactive and self-motivated.* Problem-solving attitude with a focus on resolution.* Strong team player with effective communication skills.* Ability to teach and transfer knowledge to others.### **Preferred Educational Background**Candidates with multidisciplinary technical training are preferred, including but not limited to:* Basic Professional Certificate in Metal Elements Manufacturing* Technician in Machining* Higher Technician in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing## ****We Celebrate Who We Are****Allegion is committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.
