We are supporting a large, international aviation and technology group in the search for a Technical Product Lead with a strong Platform Engineering background.
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Data and Cloud , owning the vision and roadmap for a greenfield Engineering Metrics Platform . The platform aggregates data from engineering and DevOps tooling (GitHub, SonarCloud, Snyk, CI/CD systems, cloud platforms, etc.) to provide actionable insights on delivery, quality, security and engineering efficiency across multiple product teams.
You will work closely with platform engineering, DevOps, software engineering and AI teams , acting as a technical product leader capable of deeply understanding modern engineering stacks and translating them into scalable, data-driven products.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for internal engineering and platform products
- Lead a greenfield engineering metrics platform built on data from DevOps, CI/CD and cloud-native tools
- Define and evolve engineering productivity, quality and security metrics
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering, DevOps and Software Engineering teams to ensure reliable data ingestion and platform scalability
- Drive adoption and value realization of internal developer platforms across multiple operating companies
- Manage OKRs, value tracking, reporting and stakeholder communication at senior level
- Mentor Product Owners and technical leaders across related platform products
Required background and skills:
- Strong experience in Technical Product Management / Product Ownership in complex engineering environments
- Deep understanding of Platform Engineering concepts , DevOps practices and SDLC
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms , containerization and modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, APIs)
- Familiarity with developer tooling and ecosystems (GitHub, AWS, SonarCloud, Snyk, monitoring and metrics platforms)
- Strong data literacy: APIs, databases, metrics aggregation and dashboarding (Power BI or similar)
- Ability to translate highly technical topics into business and operational impact
This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working close to engineering, shaping internal platforms and enabling teams to deliver software efficiently, securely and at scale within a global airline and technology environment.
