Solution Architect

Client is looking for a Software Solution Architect to join our team in Madrid. This role suits someone with a strong technical background, a proactive approach, and a passion for designing scalable cloud based solutions aligned with business and technology goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with Solution Architects to design and evolve application architectures aligned with strategic objectives
• Contribute to product oriented teams with a high level of ownership and autonomy
• Support recruitment and onboarding by providing technical guidance and insights
• Document and clearly communicate business and technical requirements
• Ensure adherence to architecture standards and data security policies
Required Skills and Experience
• Previous experience as a Software Developer preferably using Java
• Strong understanding of object oriented programming and design principles
• Knowledge of architectural styles including monolithic, microservices, event driven, and service oriented architectures
• Experience with relational, key value, and document based databases
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms with a strong preference for AWS
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies especially Scrum
• Understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
• Experience with CI CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Analytical problem solving mindset with a focus on continuous learning
• Ability to work independently and respond constructively to feedback
