Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to lead the technical delivery of our Data Centre and large-scale industrial projects. The Role - Lead electrical technical design for all project stages (From Concept to Construction) including carrying out calculations, concept development, project coordination, H&S and risk management and project delivery. - Supervise and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and ensuring team cohesion toward project goals. - Identify and specify appropriate electrical equipment and components to meet project objectives, considering energy efficiency, reliability, redundancy, and system compatibility. - Ensure full compliance with Spanish regulations. - Produce official submissions for Spanish professional bodies (Colegio de Ingenieros) and local authorities. - Manage project coordination, QA/QC procedures, and risk management. - Mentor junior engineers and liaise with senior management on project escalations. What We Need - Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Industrial, Energy Engineering or equivalent. - Must-Have: Deep knowledge of Spanish regulations (REBT/CTE…). - Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, preferable with previous experience in Data Centre or mission‑critical projects in Spain. - Experience producing and delivering official submissions to "Colegio de Ingenieros" and local authorities. - Solid experience on large‑scale industrial/infrastructure projects. Experience in Data Centre Projects will be highly valued. Note: If you have deep industrial experience but are new to Data Centres, we want to hear from you. - Language: Full professional fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English. - Project management: Proven experience in electrical project management, with the ability to provide autonomous leadership and coordinate small teams of engineers. - Revit & Navisworks: Competent in the use of Revit and Navisworks.
