About the role
Booming Games delivers high-end gaming solutions to the online casino slots market. Our uniquely themed games with innovative features created by talented professionals are our key to success. We are constantly growing on platform and game development and are looking for a superstar animator to join our Arts and Animation team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Create high-quality 2D animations for online slot machines.
- Occasionally produce 3D animations to enhance gameplay and visual effects.
- Collaborate with the design and development teams to understand the game concepts and requirements.
- Bring characters, symbols, and backgrounds to life through fluid and engaging animations.
- Ensure animations are optimized for performance on various platforms and devices.
- Utilize industry-standard animation software and tools to deliver exceptional results.
- Stay updated with the latest animation techniques and trends in the gaming industry.
- Work closely with artists, designers, and programmers to ensure seamless integration of animations into the game.
- Contribute to the development of a cohesive visual style and maintain consistency across multiple projects.
- Conduct testing and provide feedback to improve animations based on user experience and feedback.
- Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and deliver animations within set deadlines.
- Maintain organization and file management to ensure project efficiency.
- Continuously learn and improve skills through self-study and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with the art director to align animation style with the overall game vision.
**Requirements**:
- Industry experience in animation, particularly in the gaming or iGaming sector, is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with Spine, a popular 2D animation software.
- Possess a strong portfolio showcasing your animation skills and creativity.
- Show a passion for gaming and a deep understanding of the player experience.
- Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills to overcome technical and artistic challenges.
- Fluent in English.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in the iGaming industry is a huge plus
Good to know

- This full-time position can be a permanent employment in Malta or on a freelance basis for contractors
