Description
Apex Group is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant, reporting to a Manager within Apex, to have responsibility for the preparation of accurate portfolio valuations on a timely basis. This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable salary and benefits package.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
- Work with the assistant manager, manager and director to ensure the planning, coordination and completion of NAVs, management reporting and statutory reporting of corporate entities
- Assist with the supervision and mentoring of several trainee fund accountants
- Liaise with fund managers, brokers, and custodians to communicate information and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to the agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines
- Eligiblity to register as a CA(SA)
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Structural and detail-orientated
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
