**Data Engineer role Purpose**

Implementation and management of the LLP data analytics infrastrucuture and data products team, responsible for:
Data pre-processing, data integration and pipeline architecture

Implement of the LLP Data Products roadmap

Support Product Management of LLP Data Warehouse and data models

Align with key stakeholders to ensure project stakeholders are aligned and informed

Education & training of LLP data analyst community

Manage internal vendors who provide data products to LLP Europe

Alignment to DSC best practices on data and IT security and standards

**The key responsibilities for you as IT Analyst include**

To ensure that the assigned user community is functional and can operate the business with minimum disruption providing out of hours cover as required.

Undertaking general systems housekeeping.

Application functional support and L1 for all systems related issues & queries as the interface between the Business Operations management, Customers IT management and IT Team to Improve system performance/functionality & efficiencies.

Scheduling and running of Application Management routines

Ensure that DHL & Customer company policies are applied where applicable.

Training and Documentation - define requirement for and then facilitate creation and maintenance of required IT documentation. Delivery of appropriate IT training to operational super users

Work with third party service providers & partners, (both internal & external)

**Requirements for the job**

3-5 years hands on BI development experience

Advanced Power BI - Including ETL using Power Query (M-Code) and optimisation techniques.

SQL - Advanced analysis - (Oracle and Microsoft)

Familiar with Azure Data Services concepts
- including Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Synapse and SQL Databases.

Experience with Data Engineering and Data Analysis.

BI solution architecture / Design & build of data models ideally (MS SQL DB / Synapse)

Ability to ensure collaboration across different sectors/geographies/stakeholders/levels of seniority

Ability to influence people (including internal, customers and suppliers) and present information in a clear and concise way

Energetic, enthusiastic, results-oriented; capable of adding significant value

Customer focused with and eye on continuous improvement and cost reduction

Flexibility to work extended hours to meet the needs of the business
