**About the Role**:
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Be a strong partner to the Assistant Global Controller, including keeping all parties updated on accounting and financial reporting issues.
- Cash flow forecasting for UK and the Netherlands.
- Timely closing of the general ledger on a monthly basis.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts.
- Record and pay vendor invoices and employee expenses.
- Review and approve new opportunities in Salesforce for the UK and the Netherlands.
- Record revenue in accordance with ASC 606.
- Preparing monthly revenue analysis for senior management.
- Enter monthly credit card transactions.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and PL variance analysis.
- File VAT.
- Completing CBS Survey.
- Record payroll.
- Act as a liaison to outside auditors, tax advisors and legal counsel, as necessary.
- Any other accounting or finance related task as required from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- 6+ years of accounting experience. SaaS, Software, or Technology sector background is highly preferred.
- Chartered accountant or equivalent certification would be a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with multi-currency, multi-location, and segment consolidations as well as preparation of financial statements.
- Background in M&A integration would be a nice to have.
- Capability of collaborate with a globally distributed, high performance team is a must.
- Strong communication and analytical skills coupled with great attention to detail are essential to this role.
- Excellent MS Office skills and experience with ERP systems is required. NetSuite experience a plus.
- Proficiency level of English is a must; knowledge of other European languages (i.e. Spanish, Italian, Dutch, etc.) will be valuable but not mandatory.
