- The Territory Manager (TM) serves as a Trusted Advisor to new and existing accounts by building in-depth knowledge of Ritchie Bros. selling solutions and platforms. The TM effectively positions these solutions to meet the complex needs of customers. The TM will research to identify territory needs and opportunities and use effective sales strategies and go-to-market action plans to maximize Share of Wallet (SOW). This role will oversee the proper execution of Sales and serve as the voice of the customer on many occasions which makes relationship-building skills critical. This role works both independently and collaboratively to build strong partnerships with customers and ensure best in class customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
**You Will Be Accountable For**
- Selling multi-channel solutions within the assigned territory
- Identify geographic areas and sectors that are areas of opportunity
- Grow sales with new business
- Establish, maintain and grow relationships with main companies around the areathe fact of developing long term relationships is key to succeed in this position
- Develop a strategy and plan for securing potential customers
- Building, maintaining, and updating Playbook on a frequent basis
- Ensuring proper execution of sales through coordination with “Win Team” to fully service accounts including: sales support, operations, administrative, valuations and field marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Extensive experience in outside sales
- Proven consistent track record of meeting / exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of or experience with various construction, transportation, agricultural or industrial (related) equipment / vehicles
- Negotiation skills
- Professional level English and Spanish
**It’s Important To Note That**
You are able to travel max. 1 night/ week to cover the territory
