**Base Location**: Santiago de Compostela, Spain however we are flexible on location including Bilbao, Madrid or Zaragoza.

**What is the Role?**
This is an exciting new role within our European business and will play a vital part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us Power Change in Europe
You will join a Renewables business that will lead activities across several Southern European countries with our major Hub in Spain. The working environment will be international, diverse, inclusive and in growth mode. The main objectives are to develop, build and own renewable energy plants - mainly Wind Technology but also Solar, Storage and Hydro across Europe to achieve our Net Zero commitments.
As our Land Manager, you will provide direct support to the Director and work closely with the Leadership Team and other Country Managers to support and deliver all land rights aspects across our portfolio.
Some of your main accountabilities may include:
- Designing the land securitization strategy BUY and MAKE
- Developing the network of real estate agencies and suppliers
- Designing and executing negotiations
- Coordinating of Expropriation rights
- Drafting legal documents for securing land (purchase, lease, easements, etc )
- Building cost analysis for land rights in the projects
- Good understanding of the real estate legal framework for renewable energy projects
**What do I need?**
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Experience in a similar Land Management role within a relevant commercial environment or industry, preferably Renewable Energy with a good understanding of Real Estate Law and Expropriation Process
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a full command of English (B2 level) and Spanish both written and verbal for reporting whilst additional French or Italian language skills would be desirable.
- Skills and competency on continuous improvement, project management whilst demonstrating initiative, proactivity and creativity both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Experience working with the Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Google Earth and specifically GIS
- Ability to travel locally as required by Projects.
