A unique opportunity has arisen for a Global Cost and Pricing Director to oversee all costing activities within our Core Product lines, including Body and Body Domain Control Modules, Zonal Control Modules and Power Distribution Modules. Lear Corporation is at the forefront of next generation technology associated with the automotive industry’s move to Electrification, Battery Disconnect Units and next generation E/E Architectures making our organization an exciting employer to work for. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance for our Global Electronics organization the Cost and Price Director will lead the Electronics Business Unit in achieving best in class profitable growth targets for both awarded and advanced global OEM customer projects.

**Position responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)**
- Leading, motivating and mentoring a global team of Cost & Pricing Specialists
- Partnering with Commercial and Engineering Teams to win customer programs in line with Lear’s growth strategy
- Identifying opportunities and leading implementation plans for margin improvements
- Providing accurate and timely analysis to facilitate commercial and operational decision making
- Reviewing technological capabilities to automate data bases to improve efficiency and analysis
- Facilitating regional analysis on global quotes and identify opportunities to improve risk adjusted returns
- Working closely with Operations and Program Management teams to drive OI activities in build up to SOP

**To be a success in this role you must have**:

- Demonstrated experience of overseeing all costing related topics from RFQ/RFI up to SOP preferably as a T1 Automotive Supplier
- Deep knowledge of Cost & Price related tools and project management principals
- Experience in leading a multi cultural team of financial specialists to delivery against global company goals and financial targets
- Ability to interface with Global Stakeholders and Cross Functional Teams to drive business goals and priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to deliver high level presentations to global business leaders
- Experience (re-)defining, documenting and implementing improvement processes within
- Strong analytical mind
- Highest level of integrity and Compliance mindset
