**Sales Manager Drive&PLC- Center and South Region**:

As a Sales Manager, you will drive the domestic Sales performance of Drives and PLC in Center and South Region, specifying and implementing effective sales and business-development initiatives in line with global strategy. You will lead and coach the assigned Serial Sales Team to meet ambitious growing targets and to exceed customer expectations.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Achieve the Sales objectives assigned to the Area, in terms of Orders and profitability, pushing commercial activity to reach the ratio of visits per client / area agreed with Serial Sales Director.
- Responsible to build and to execute the Sales Plan (habit 1) of the Area, defining proper targets for each seller and for each customer, aligned with Sales Management.
- Strengthen and maintain commercial relations with Partners and with existing customers in the assigned area, in order to map the market and his opportunities, presenting and promoting the assigned Portfolio.
- Hunting: Identifying new business opportunities and new customers, being proactive and creating capture teams for convert them on recurrent sales.
- Lead and coach the Sales team of the area, ensuring the execution of the strategy set by the Global Division and Local Sales Management.
- Implementation and follow up of relevant Sales Habits: weekly follow up of sales activity, monthly analysis of Budget GAP; regular reporting of Sales Forecast, according to the Department targets.
- Strategic approach of Sales through the implementation of specific Action Plans, defined for Segments and for Channels.
- Lead by example, following the rules established by the Code of Conduct and being proactive on OHS and Integrity, following "Don't look the other way" policy defined by ABB.
- Collaboration and communication: the role require to work in coordination with other departments of the Division (mainly Sales Support, Service and Marketing) and with other ABB Business Areas

**Your background**:

- At least 5 years of experience in sales (B2B) of Electrical and Industrial Equipment for OEMs, Direct End User, System Integrators and Utilities markets, directly or through partners.
- Experience of business development, account management and cross-selling will be a plus.
- Superior communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
- Engineering Degree, preferably Electrical or Industrial.
- Available to spend at least 50% of his time, for visiting customer (F2F or virtually) concentrated on Center/South Region.
- English: medium level for oral and written communication and proficiency
