**IDIBELL is looking for an Staff Scientist for the Pneumology Laboratory**

**About the research group**

The Pneumology research group is focused on looking for answers to respiratory clinical problems and therapeutical solutions on pneumologic diseases without effective treatments.

**About the role**

Responsible for the Pneumology Laboratory

**Job requirements**

Professional experience
- Expert in pre-clinical experimental models of pulmonary fibrosis and analysis of biomarkers
- Coordination of tasks in the laboratory required to conduct all the projects of the group

Education and training
- Degree in Biology
- PhD
- Foreign Post-doctoral fellow

Technical or soft skills
- Expert in performing experimental cell cultures
- Measurement of protein and RNA expression
- DNA isolation for genetics-genomics

Languages
- Good command of the English language

**We will value, but not required**
- More than 1 year of post-doc foreign stage
- Holding an IDIBELL contract

**Our institute**

IDIBELL is a research center that integrates the biomedical research of the Bellvitge University Hospital (HUB), the Catalan Institute of Oncology (ICO), and the University of Barcelona in the Bellvitge Campus (UB), and the Viladecans Hospital (HV). The research focuses of IDIBELL are cancer, neuroscience, translational medicine and regenerative medicine. Research, innovation and society are the pivots on which researchers work every day in order to improve the quality of life of citizens.
