**Program Summary**

KBR will help sustain the well-being of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain, as well as Incirlik Air Base, Izmir Air Station, Office of Defense Cooperation -Turkey and the Ankara Support Facility also in Turkey. The company will keep these bases and facilities operating smoothly so deployed Air Force and government personnel can execute their missions without distraction.

KBR’s work will include program management; civil engineering; morale, welfare and recreation support; postal operations; and safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene and ambulance services. It will also provide logistics support, such as vehicle management, fuel operations and air terminal services. KBR received this contract - which has a five-year base period and three one-year options—from the Air Force Installation Contracting Center.

**Job Summary**

Provides emergency medical assistance to all patients as a member of the emergency response team. Receives telephone or radio request for ambulance service/emergency medical service.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the safe operation of the ambulance.
- Utilizes radios and phone systems for the receipt and relay of emergency information.
- Observes and obeys all traffic and safety rules and laws while operating emergency response vehicles. Performs daily/shift operator maintenance and inspection before, during and after vehicle usage. Ensures patients are properly secured prior to transportation.
- Assists the nurse in patient care and treatment.
- Promotes cooperation with workers in accident prevention.
- Conducts all tasks as required by the supervising nurse.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Licensed IAW Spanish Law with a minimum of C-2 license, and BTP stamp. Technician training IAW Spanish RD’s 1397/2007 and 836/2012
- Preferable minimum six months experience within the past twelve months in pre-hospital emergency medical care
- Ability to understand and speak English (basic)
