A MICE Sales Executive analyses local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business.

**What will I be doing?**

As MICE Sales Executive, you will analyze local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat MICE business. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads.
- Develop customer MICE accounts and travel within local & international area to drive business into the specific hotel and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
- Conduct property site visits and answer questions
- Respond to MICE sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
- Create Sales Presentations & Material according to Hilton Standards.
- Initiate new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients
- Contribute to the implementation of sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals for MICE segment.
- Monitoring progress in real-time and analyzing data.
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Manager and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads and monthly performance.
- Work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities
- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
- Attend Sales events & Fairs as required. Travel involved national & international.
- Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner

- Fluent in English & Spanish, written and spoken. _(required)_
- Excellent organization skills
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Experience in a sales role with a proven track record to close a sale
- Strong prospecting abilities
- Knowledge of Hilton Systems (OnQ PM, OnQ R&I, OnQ SM, Delphi) (_Preferred)_
- Knowledge of Hotelligence Reporting and Data Analysis _(preferred)_
- High level of Microsoft Excel & Power Point _(required)_
- Proven experience with MICE Segments (required)

- Knowledge of local market
- Knowledge of hospitality
- Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
