**SANTANDER DIGITAL SERVICES is looking for an IT WAN NETWORK ENGINEER based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE office.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an **IT WAN Network Engineer **, you will be integrated into Network as Service (NaaS) Team to support the services provided to our internal clients. You will be responsible and accountable for ensuring that NaaS’ Portfolio meets customer and business requirements.

The service delivery manager has overall accountability for defining the service, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements, and managing the service lifecycle - in conjunction with the others NaaS Teams.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Design and participate in the development of a multi-tenancy service with SD WAN technology.
- Participate in the integration of these service solutions in internal systems so that installation, provision and monitoring tasks can be carried out. It is required to know and design these integrations with the solutions offered by each manufacturer (commonly through API).
- Network integration with cloud service providers (mainly AWS & Microsoft Azure).
- Technical support in the escalation of incidents. Act as a key resource for troubleshooting any network related issues that may arise. Proactively identify potential problems and improvements that can be made within LAN and WAN environments, especially SDWAN (MPLS + Internet) technologies.
- Management and direct contact with suppliers, manufacturers and wholesalers. Work with vendors when necessary to provide effective incident resolution.
- Follow up on the product roadmap and keep up to date with the new versions launched by the manufacturers, in addition to carrying out continuous control and monitoring of the errors reported to the manufacturer for their resolution.
- Preparation of documentation associated with the service: conceptual document, technical feasibility and technical manual. Maintain detailed network documentation.
- Delivery of training to Operations groups.
- Planning and project management. Investigate new network technology and advances to provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the company.

EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience as a network administrator in a Cisco-oriented WAN environment at multiple locations.
- 1+ years in SDWAN Environments desirable. Experience in protocol configuration (BGP & OSPF) and support for technologies: MPLS / IP, VPN L2 / L3.

EDUCATION

University degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent operational knowledge SD-WAN and MPLS networks and integration with different network solutions, SD-WAN security. They stand out: Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, VMWare Velocloud.
- Excellent operational knowledge of the Cisco IOS & NXOS command line interface. CCNA certification is required. The CCNP/CCIE certification is an asset. Official certifications of some of the SDWAN manufacturers.
- Designs and architectures in Cloud Service Providers (mainly AWS & Microsoft Azure).
- Design and development of automations for integrations through API. Shell scripting languages (Terraform), Python.
- Excellent operational knowledge of IP and associated layer 4 protocols.
- Advanced Knowledge of office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Analytics Tools (PowerBI, QLIK, etc.). Strong English communication skills. Professional developments in Agile environments.

- ITIL, Cobit, LeanIT, It control framework. Risk Management framework.

OTHER INFORMATION
- Normal working day from Monday to Friday. Must be available to work outside of office hours and on weekends. Participation in a watch rotation will be required.
