ICFO is a research center located in the Mediterranean Technology Park in the metropolitan area of Barcelona, and currently hosts 400+ people, including researchers, PhD students and staff personnel. Today, in its area of specialization and category, the institute is consistently ranked among the highest-quality research institutions worldwide.

We are currently looking for an Accounting Officer, who will join the Finance team.

The main responsibilities (although not exclusive) for this position are as follow:

- Accounting, follow-up and control of suppliers’ invoices (Maintenance, Consumption, Material, Renting, Transport, etc.)
- Accounting, monitoring and control of property invoices (Create assets sheet and track depreciation)
- Accounting of customer invoices (Realization of Invoices referring to spin-offs or requested by the different ICFO departments)
- Supplier payments management (Making the files to pay suppliers and other ICFO expenses)
- Others:

- Control of IRPF and Customs Invoices for the presentation of taxes
- Various accountings (expenses, registrations, insurance etc..)
- Collaboration with other departments (information and documentation for project audits and others)
- Filing and conservation of financial documentation

**REQUIREMENTS**

The appointee must have:

- Administration and Accounting Studies.
- 10 Years minimum demonstrable knowledge of documentation and administrative processes starting from the offer, purchase order, delivery note, invoice and final payment
- Experience with ERP, much preferably SAP Business One.
- Proficiency with computer tools such as Excel & Word.
- Experience in the accounting treatment of asset management in non-profit entities, specially Foundations.
- Must be organized and enthusiastic while being collaborative.
- Team player
- Must have basic knowledge of English.
