**Santander Global Technology and Operations **is looking for an **Operational Framework and Quality Assurance Sr. Analyst **based in our **Madrid (Spain) office.**

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

As an _Operational Framework and Quality Assurance Sr. Analyst _**, **your main objective will be to assist in the identification and subsequent mitigation of Financial Crime risks, resulting from the on-going operational services. You will be providing support in the design, delivery and implementation of a global robust FCC operational Control and Quality Assurance Framework, including the financials area. We´re looking for an individual with significant analytical, communications and organisational skills, who is results driven and can easily adapt to a dynamic environment.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Help building a robust global FC operational control framework (including quality assurance and financials), which provides senior management with oversight over the operational services provided to the different hubs.
- Assist analysing FC operational processes (Transaction Monitoring, Screening and KYC) to understand whether the control framework is operating effectively, and proposing changes in processes to reach efficiencies.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of internal reporting, including managing MI and calculating data.
- Provide support in enhancing existing and developing new FC operations solutions.
- Support local units to comply with corporate policies and procedures related to AML&TF.
- Assist in requests or projects related to the role.

EXPERIENCE
- Approximately 3 - 5 years’ experience across the core competencies required for the role.
- Experience in Financial Crime industry (AML/FC KYC/TM/Screening processes).
- Project management skills is a plus.
- Process Management knowledge.

EDUCATION
- University degree.
- ICA/ACAMS or similar certificate is a plus.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Analytical thinking and results driven.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Highly organized and self-starter.
- Outstanding Spanish and English reading, speaking, and writing skills
- Attention to detail oriented.
- Willing to support other areas of the team where needed.
- Multi-tasking.
- Cross-team integration.
