**What will you do?**
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Accurately prepare HolaLuz financial accounts
- Evaluating financial operations to recommend best-practices, identify issues and strategize solutions, and help organizations run efficiently
- Supervise and coach AP Team
- Prepare journals entries as necessary during the month in liaison with Controllers
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and analyze variances
- Managing derivatives accounting (NIIF 9 is a must)
- Be responsible for Inter-company balances and reconciliations
- Monitor group interest loans, monthly calculation, and accruals
- GL accounts reconciliations
- Propose improvements to optimize and automate processes and calculations
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Supports budget and forecasting activities.
- Collaborates with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Annual Group Audit
- Assist in development and implementation of new ERP

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant - Financial Controller
- In-depth understanding of ES Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Awareness of business trends
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant
