Mitiga is a spinoff of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, which hosts MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe.

Mitiga's mission is firmly rooted in employing cutting-edge science and technology to mitigate the multifaceted risks posed by climate-driven perils. Our approach spans a spectrum of temporal scales, from real-time and annual forecasts to projections spanning the next century. This comprehensive perspective on risk, coupled with our capacity to transfer risks to capital markets via catastrophe bonds, positions us to significantly contribute to enhanced climate mitigation, resilience, and equity.

**Who you are**

We are looking for a brilliant strategic mind who can execute relentlessly, especially through research and the creation of materials (e.g., presentations, briefs, one-pagers, reports) and will stop at nothing to get results autonomously. You should be data-driven and have strong communication skills. You should also be comfortable with uncertainty and take satisfaction in diagnosing pathways and solutions quickly. This position would be great for a young maverick who would like to learn the ropes of building a company and wants to learn directly from senior leadership. You have honed your innate skills with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in any area that has made you think for yourself.

**What will you do?**
- Keeping abreast of emerging and long-term trends in our targeted markets, evolving product requirements, and competitors’ landscape, the Strategy Analyst is responsible for conducting research and presenting insights in different formats and to different audiences (from the CEO to the tech or product teams) in view of inform and shape the strategic direction of the company.
- Be a critical asset to our capital raising efforts by supporting the creation of our data room, including presentations and due diligence reports for investors. In addition, he/she will work directly with the CEO and be the point of contact with all prospect investors, helping maintain (with support of our Executive Assistant) a CRM database and knowledge repository of what works (or doesn’t) to inform our positioning.
- Support the visibility and communication of the CEO Office, serving as a proactive force on special leadership projects to position Mitiga as a thought leader in the climate landscape. This can range from our participation in the world’s biggest climate conference to running deep tech events with innovation/startup ecosystems in the South Mediterranean.
- You’ll work with the CEO and CSO on strategic initiatives in the company helping conceptualise, translate, and communicate the big picture intro strategies and plans that keep the company focused while pushing boundaries.
