Ser un recurso clave para todas las actividades de recreación que se facilitan en la propiedad. Brindar información a los huéspedes sobre las instalaciones recreativas disponibles, que pueden incluir piscina, playa, zona de entretenimiento/sala de juegos, gimnasio y centro de actividades infantiles. Motivar, reclutar, registrar y organizar a los huéspedes para que participen de actividades recreativas. Fomentar una atmósfera divertida y relajante para los huéspedes. Promover las reglas y regulaciones de las instalaciones recreativas que tienen como fin mantener la seguridad y el bienestar de los huéspedes y miembros. Observar la actividad en la instalación recreativa y reaccionar correctamente conforme a los procedimientos operativos locales en caso de emergencia. Brindar servicio de cajero cuando trabaja en instalaciones que incluyen transacciones en puntos de venta. Ayudar cuando se lleven a cabo funciones privadas de actividades en grupos y eventos en las instalaciones recreativas. Estar atento a posibles situaciones en las que participar en una actividad no sea seguro para los huéspedes e informar al supervisor/gerente. Brindar asistencia a los huéspedes heridos hasta que llegue el servicio médico de emergencias. Limpiar y mantener en condiciones las instalaciones recreativas, los equipos y los suministros.

Informar sobre accidentes, lesiones y condiciones de trabajo inseguras al gerente; finalizar la capacitación y las certificaciones sobre seguridad. Cumplir con las políticas y los procedimientos de la compañía, asegurarse de que tanto el uniforme como el aspecto personal sean pulcros y profesionales, mantener la confidencialidad de la información de la compañía y proteger sus bienes. Dar la bienvenida y atender a todos los huéspedes de acuerdo con las normas de la compañía; anticiparse a las necesidades de servicio de los huéspedes y atenderlas; asistir a las personas con discapacidades y dar las gracias a los huéspedes con un aprecio genuino. Hablar con otras personas usando un lenguaje claro y profesional; contestar las llamadas telefónicas usando la etiqueta apropiada. Desarrollar y mantener relaciones de trabajo positivas con otras personas; apoyar al equipo para alcanzar los objetivos comunes. Procesar los pagos por el alquiler de equipos, actividades recreativas, alquiler de instalaciones o ventas minoristas. Asegurar el cumplimiento con las expectativas y los estándares de calidad. Leer y verificar visualmente información en varios formatos (p. ej., impresiones en tipografía pequeña). Inspeccionar de manera visual las herramientas, los equipos o las máquinas (p. ej., para identificar fallas). Ingresar y localizar información relacionada con el trabajo usando computadoras o sistemas de puntos de venta. Estar de pie, sentado o caminando durante largos períodos de tiempo o durante el turno de trabajo completo. Mover, levantar, transportar, empujar, arrastrar y colocar objetos con un peso inferior o igual a 25 libras (11 kg) sin ayuda y objetos con un peso superior a 25 libras (11 kg) con ayuda. Agarrar, dar vuelta y manipular objetos de varios tamaños y pesos, lo cual requiere coordinación entre manos y ojos y habilidad motriz fina. Moverse en espacios elevados, reducidos o estrechos. Moverse sobre superficies resbaladizas, desníveladas o inclinadas, así como también subir y bajar escaleras o rampas de servicio. Alcanzar objetos por encima de la cabeza y por debajo de las rodillas, lo que incluye agacharse, girar la cintura, arrastrarse e inclinarse. Ejecutar otras tareas de trabajo razonables solicitadas.
