The purpose of the role

To ensure that material planning processes are in place to enable operational and production continuity. Takes a coordinating lead, working closely with internal and external parties to ensure the right balance between production and costumer needs and raw materials.
Assure, create and mantain the inventory schedules, coordinating with inetrnal departements, and managing external stakeholder relations to ensure that material resources are consistent with production plans.

**Responsibilities**:

- Daily monitoring, evaluation and call off (creation of purchase orders) of required raw materials/packaging based on the data from the ERP system (MRP) and/or forecast, customer demand, production requirements, inventory transactions, reject material and bill of materials.
- Follow up on possible delays in deliveries, inform the departments concerned and initiate the necessary actions with the suppliers.
- Systematic consultation with the direct colleagues of production planning about stock levels and the status of incoming goods.
- Consultation with logistics staff regarding transport of goods and follow-up of costs.
- Proposing optimization of the use of available warehouse space in consultation with the shift leader warehouse.
- Pro-actively providing new raw materials for new product launches, in consultation with sales and PD&I (Product Development & Innovation).
- Working closely with other departments regarding productions goal, timelines, customer service etc.
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns.
- Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations keeping the minimun risk of loss on inventories.
- Participate in continuous improvements for Supply Chain or to continuously improve our service to customers.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Inventory Management or Economics or equivalent experience in a planning, procurement or logistics role (minimum 4 years’ experience).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
- Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems. Previous experience in Microsoft Dynamics would be valuable.
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Mathematical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to organize own work efficiently taken into account input/output from/to other functional areas.
- Ability to solve manage complex problems
- Stay calm and professional under pressure.
- Must be able to cooperate in a positive way with other people and other departments.
- Must be agile to identify problems and share those with the manager.
- Professional level of working with normal Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
