**Company Overview**
**Role overview**:
Working as a key member of the purchasing department, as a Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting the administration and negotiation of orders and contracts, ensuring cost effectiveness procurement as well as supporting the production plants and customer requirements.
This position will be based in Valls, Tarragona.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Purchase of materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors
- Solicitation of quotations
- Evaluation of vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers
- Negotiate component prices and terms
- Negotiate optimal logistics parameters
- Internal and external stakeholder relationship management.
- Supervising of purchase order
- Responsible for cost and lead time estimations in early project phase
**Key Skills**
- Fluent English Skills - every second language will be a plus.
- Good communication skills in cross functional teams
- Analytical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree - Business or Engineering Degree
- Previous experience in production environments purchasing may be a plus
- Computer literacy - in particular with MS Office - Excel
