**Job Description**:
**Logicalis Spain** are looking for an experienced **Network Manager** to join the team for one of our main clients. Tasks include managing, implementing and supporting all technical, quality and other aspects of organisational communications across the organisation.

The position requires a deep understanding of both local and wide area network technologies and an in-depth knowledge of IP based telecommunications and collaboration solutions.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:
**Accountable For**:

- Providing coaching and mentoring to the Network and Telecoms team
- Coordinating and facilitate changes, enhancements, upgrades and patching of network and communications systems across the globe
- Maintaining accurate system and administration documentation
- Managing a budget on a daily, monthly and annual basis, initiating corrective actions to balance income and expenditure in line with the agreed budget
- Managing the life-cycle of assets including hardware, software, licences, and warranties
- Identifying and exploring opportunities for service improvement.
- Managing and maintaining business as usual

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare proposal documents and reports including costing and business cases.
- Manage key suppliers in their delivery to the organisation
- Ensure compliance with audit actions
- Lead and manage the Network and Telecoms team, including the coordination and scheduling of the workload
- Work with third party suppliers to ensure a consistent delivery service
- Plan, devise, build, configure and commission telecommunications equipment, networks, and systems
- Define tools, templates and process and ensure their use and effectiveness
- Ensure standards and controls are defined and adhered to
- Analyse current processes, identify and implement opportunities to optimise processes, and lead and develop a team to deliver improvements
- Responsible for staff management, including recruitment, development, mentoring and appraising
- Work with Vendor Management and Vendors to review and define contractual agreements for network and telecoms services and assess and obtain new services and products from vendors
- Take accountability of issues that occur and be proactive in searching for solutions
- Gather and analyse information using comprehensive tools and techniques and use this data to formulate both short-term day-to-day and long-term strategic plans
- Ensure that improvement initiatives identified are acted on and progress reports are provided
- To ensure that the network fully meets the Disaster Recovery Plan, thoroughly testing capacity and resilience

**Skills**:

- Deep understanding of networking equipment and network topology
- A wide understanding of network technologies, including Cisco
- A deep understanding of IP based telephony and collaboration systems, including Microsoft Teams
- Thorough understanding of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN technologies
- Thorough understanding of network switching and routing
- Extensive experience in the design and configuration of Firewalls
- Experience with Netscalers & Load balancers
- Experience in designing, developing, installing, maintaining, and repairing of telecommunications and networking systems and equipment
- Exposure to Cloud/Infrastructure (ideally Azure)
- Budget management
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written)
- Experience managing a team
- A Project management certification is a plus
- Cisco CCNP / CCIE is desirable
