- This role is key to providing support for the HCM and our people data in our ecosystem, driving HR technology initiatives and for troubleshooting complex data issues. solutions that support business processes, data design and technology standards to drive impactful business decisions. You will be required to build consensus around business processes, business rules, workflows and instruct the team to implement best practices in configuring and designing the HCM Systems. You will specifically partner with a variety of internal implementation team along with internal stakeholders to drive technology solutions develop HR technology roadmaps to include; projects, upgrades, enhancements and improve end user experiences. Provide escalation support for system-wide issues, leveraging appropriate internal and external resources as needed. You will be lead, train, inspire and develop the People Data Architecture Global team to ensure the skill sets required to support ecosystems, architecture and data are in place.

Skills and experiences
- Well established years of HR business and technology experience, leading technical and project resources with a solid understanding of Data Protection and Governance.
- Strong experience and understanding in operating HCMs to solve complex problems.
- Experience in Workday and Microsoft platforms is an asset and/or familiarity with a variety of technical platforms and architectures. Experience with Saas HRIS System preferred.
- Experience in developing and enhancing HR data architecture and guiding teams to ensure adherence best practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology - requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience.

What you'll do

Oversee team for day-to-day administration and maintenance of HCM and downstream ecosystems, including Troubleshooting, issue escalation, security administration, mass processing and uploads, workflow approvals, system documentation, and end user training. Responsible for the success of large transformations and key projects which ensure the success of Human Resources and Avanade.

Manage system governance, ensuring data integrity and system stability; maintain access and security levels of system users; and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.

Map business processes to HCM processes, identify strategies, risks, and options. Identify gaps and recommend approaches and mitigations to meet business requirements while staying consistent with Avanade’s architecture and infrastructure.
