**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven **Director of Sales** to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth at our **Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sales Strategy Development**: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximise profitability for The iNUA Collection properties.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- **Business Development**: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to expand the client base and drive sales growth.
- **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance brand reputation and drive business results.
- **Revenue Optimization**: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and business growth.
- **Sales Performance Monitoring**: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, KPIs, and financial data to evaluate effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, revenue management, and operations, to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving business objectives.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control to achieve financial targets.
- **Sales Training and Development**: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities for the sales team to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.
- **Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, and prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in sales management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
- Sound financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
