**Data Visualization / Business Analytics**

**We a**re looking for a Junior Data Visualization / Business Analytics to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team focused on providing cutting-edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in EMEA region.**

**The opportunity**

As a member of our team in EY GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on the interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

**Your key responsibilities**

As Data Visualization / Business Analytics Consultant, you will have the following responsibilities/functions:

- Participate in the analysis, identification, standardization, and automation of the process of collecting business requirements.
- Creation of exploitation models (star, snowflake) of the data on relational and non-relational databases and on the calculation engines of the Visualization / Business Intelligence tools.
- Ability to analyse business criteria related to the construction of metrics and KPIs and interpretation in coding language on visualization tools.
- Ability to reverse engineer from exploitation models in Business Intelligence tools.
- Ability to generate data modelling and transformation for the generation of information exploitation layers.
- Generation of design templates for the standardization of processes for the construction of dashboards and visualizations.
- Definition, development, and implementation of security roles and user access to dashboards and visualizations.
- Development of graphical capabilities on Business Intelligence and Location Intelligence tools.
- Ability to define implementation processes in production systems.
- Identification of the most appropriate exploitation models for each Business Intelligence tool.

**Skills and attributes for success**

The position requires solid knowledge in:

- This position requires a real team player with solid communication skills. Furthermore, you are energetic, and you can handle new situations well
- Data visualization projects (construction of reports and dashboards using PowerBI)
- Data modeling and transformation with SQL language
- Agile project methodologies (Confluence, Jira, DevOps)
- Demonstrable experience in PowerBI developments (Desktop and Service), DAX languages, definition and creation of metrics/attributes, and SQL databases
- Advanced level in the following components: PowerQuery, PowerPivot, Power BI Report Server
- Knowledge of star and snowflake data models

**To qualify for the role, you must have**
- Bachelor/ Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Big Data, Data Analytics, Statistics, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field to data.
- Medium / high level in spoken/written English.

**Ideally, you’ll also have**
- ** Information modelling methodologies**:

- ** Location Intelligence tools**:

- ** Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Quality Principles**:

- ** CI/CD and its operation under pipelines of different technologies/frameworks such as Jenkins**:

- ** Generation of physical and logical models on database management systems**:

- ** Design of reporting models, Dashboarding, and data visualization methodology**:

- ** Development of Ad-Hoc visualization components (D3.js, JavaScript, etc.)**
