Our team is looking for a Customer Manager to join the team. In this role you will be visiting professional food and hospitality customers in Cash's catchment areas and identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue for the company, in accordance with the standards, pricing and promotions set by the Wholesale Management.
Responsibilities will include:
**Visiting and acquiring new customers**:
- Deliver and exceed agreed regional and territory sales, profit and margin targets across the (delivered, collect and online) Foodservice business.
- Develop the territory by managing a prospect list to secure new customers.
- Drive growth through expanding the range that is currently being supplied to existing accounts.
- Maintain all accounts within Dialsur agreed credit terms.
- Manage all customer contracts within the territory, including managing pricing and range to maximise profitability.
- Maintain Territory Management costs within allocated budgets, through good time management, resources management, and the most effective call pattern for each customer.
- Ensure excellent customer service through friendly, accurate field communication and good administration practices.
- Provide accurate and relevant information on competitor activity and other trade field information to the Regional Sales Manager
- Ensure the correct product mix in each account thus ensuring maximum profitability.
- Ensure full co-operation via the Territory Telesales Developer, Regional General Managers, Regional Foodservice Floor Managers etc. to ensure maximum growth in your specific territory.
- Complete all administration as required including Journey plans, Daily Sales Reports, Record Cards and Prospect lists
- Visit professional customers and Inform about the location and opening hours of the centre, assortment, promotions, and own brand.
- Advise and accompany the customer on their first visit to the store.
- Knowing the different types of customers and proposing tailor-made solutions for them.
- Support the cash & carry in the inventories, refunds, and campaigns.
- Conducting market research to identify new opportunities and keeping up to date with industry trends.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends.
- Attend regular sales meetings (sales, offers, promoter visits, incidents, etc).
**Health & Safety**:
- Know the risks of the position and the workplace. Through the basic PRL training provided by the company and through the information and documentation that we share in the employee portal area.
- Comply with work regulations: We have the regulations available in the area of the employee portal and its reading and acceptance is mandatory and is one of the first options to be made at the time of incorporation into the company. We must use the EPIS of the workplace and use the equipment and machinery with which we work correctly. Failure to comply with security regulations will be cause for disciplinary measures.
- Actively collaborate in prevention. In order for the preventive system to work correctly, the collaboration of each person is required to communicate incidents or any anomaly or need that is required so that the work can be carried out with full security guarantees.
- A degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Full clean driving licence
- Proven track record in proactive field sales and achieved targets.
