**JOB TITLE**:Inspector Coordinator, Quality Control (QC)**

**1. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Comply with Shell HSSE standards and life saving rules.
- Ensure that inspection program is performing in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP,Quality Procedure, etc.
- Ensure that approved inspectors are assigned to work locations as identified in the approved ITP and monitor proper coverage of owner’s inspection.
- Ensure that inspectors dispatched to job sites have been fully informed of all requirements and deliverables and has provided the inspectors with necessary documents such as process control plans, inspection and test plans, prints, specifications, etc.
- Ensure that all inspection result / observations are reported in the web-based system in timely manner.
- Interface with the inspectors, supplier's representatives, construction representatives and Shell personnel in a professional manner.
- Support the Shell personnel by performing additional tasks as directed and commensurate with his/her skills.
- The Inspection Coordinator has the authority to dispatch to job locations only inspectors approved by Shell.

**2. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (DUTIES)**
- Reinforce the shell HSSE requirements to the inspectors.
- Actively participate Shell Safety meeting and walk-down program.
- Attend a kick off meeting with Suppliers / Contractors to ensure Quality objectives and expectations are addressed and clearly understood.
- Assist / Review of supplier / contractor quality documents (quality plan, ITP, quality procedures, and etc.)
- Responding to requests for inspections (Daly inspection Schedule). These requests may include phone or E-mail, or other means of methodology that is agreed by Shell and Contractor.
- Verify that requests for inspections are consistent with the approved ITP.
- Knowing the status of all inspectors, their location and availability on a daily basis.
- Maintaining a list of approved inspectors and back-ups as approved by Shell / Project.
- Review daily inspection reports in the web-based system and provide feedback to inspector and (or) report to Quality manager if required.
- Provide statistic of inspection in regular basis (weekly, monthly) to Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Ensuring inspector hours are balanced and maximum safe hour limits are observed. Closely monitor weekly hours report for excessive weekly hours worked.
- Monitor estimated hours per job.
- Reviewing applicable job requirements determine inspector requirements.
- Provide real time information feedback to Shell Project Group on Quality Issues and concerns.
- Optimizing each inspector’s daily schedule to ensure the most value add to the customer while minimizing minimum call-outs. When authorized by Equipment Leads.
- Ensuring continuity when using back up inspectors through direct communication, and/or providing copies of inspector daily reports.
- Provide project dash board input with respect to inspection status and inspection coverage.
- Tracking equipment inspections and shipment status as directed.
- Obtain Inspectors Resumes from Agencies based on job requirements. The coordinator should not request inspection rates - except when specified by a Shell representative.
- Lead / participate quality audit upon request.
- Interface with procurement group, construction group, and engineering group.
- Discuss quality trend with Quality Engineer / Inspection Coordinator and provide improvement plan if any.
- Provide resolution of on-going quality issue in consultation with discipline engineer.

**3. QUALIFICATIONS**
- Have competency in the use and assessment of Safety Management System and procedures.
- Familiar with Shell DEP specifications.
- Demonstrable knowledge level of Flawless Project Delivery.
- Have knowledge of industrial codes and standards (AWS, ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, NEC, and etc.)
- Able to read and understand Drawings
- Understand Project Completion System and able to use it
- Able to issue and follow up Non-Conformance Reports
- Able to review and approve Supplier’s and Contractor's Quality Plan
- Able to develop, review and approve Supplier’s and Contractor's ITP and Quality Procedure
- Have knowledge of ISO and (or) API Q1 quality audit program and able to lead / perform / participate Quality Audit
- Able to interface with other disciplines at the various stages
- Able to identify MATERIALS that are sub-standard and that do not meet the requirements of the job specification (rogue and counterfeit items).
- Familiar with Shell's HFE requirement (Maintenance, Valve, Field Run, etc.).
- Able to review and interpret quality records and determine associated compliance with requirements (Performance data, test record, inspection record, MTR and other quality data and documents)
