**Materials Physics Center (Donostia / San Sebastián)**

The **Nanophysics Lab Group **at CFM is offering a postdoctoral position (1+1 years) starting
in May 2023 to work with Dr. Frederik Schiller in “Growth and Characterization of the
electronic and magnetic properties of single-molecular magnets on conducting and non
- conducting surfaces”.

The positions will be funded by MCIN and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR
- C17.I1, as well as by IKUR Strategy under the collaboration agreement between Ikerbasque
Foundation and DIPC on behalf of the Department of Education of the Basque Government.

Center. The salary will be of 35.650,44 euros during the first year before taxes.

The **Nanohysics Lab** Group at the Center of Materials Physics addresses the growth and
characterization of materials at surfaces. Current research topics in the group include 2D
and quantum materials, as well as surface green chemistry. For more information, visit our

experimental condensed matter physics. Expertise in surface characterization and magnetic
properties by means of electron spectroscopies will be highly appreciated for this particular
position, as well as background in scanning probe microscopies.
