**POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH POSITION AT THE POLYMERS AND SOFT MATTER**

**Materials Physics Center (Donostia / San Sebastián)**

The **Polymers and Soft Matter Group** at CFM is offering a Postdoctoral position (1 year)
starting in September 2023 to work with Dr. Ester Verde-Sesto and Dr. Jon Maiz. The
activities undertaken by this postdoctoral researcher are an integral part of the I+D+i project
TED2021-130107A-I00 **Highly Polar Polymers and Nanocomposites for Energy**
**Storage Applications: from Design and Synthesis to Structural and Dynamic**
**Characterization,** funded by MCIN/AEI /10.13039/501100011033 and by the European
Union NextGenerationEU/ PRTR._ _

Center. The salary will be 35.650,44 euros a year before taxes.

Engineering. Expertise in polymers will be highly appreciated for this particular position, as
well as background in experimental methods like calorimetric, scattering or relaxation
techniques.

The Polymer and Soft Matter Group addresses fundamental problems related with the
structural and dynamical properties of soft matter systems, mainly based on polymers.
Current research topics in the group include blends, all-polymer nanocomposites, or single
