**Job Summary/Purpose**:

- As part of the Identity and Access Management team, the Directory Services Lead will be responsible for Active Directory and Azure Active directory services at Sandoz.**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and deliver the design, engineering, and implementation of directory services at Sandoz, including but not limited to:

- Directory schema design and improvements
- U structure design and improvements
- Directory Group management
- Indexing and performance of directory services
- High availability and scalability
- AD to Azure AD migration, synchronization of identities
- Security configurations, GPOs maintenance and updates
- Design standard integration patterns
- User attributes and compliance with applicable regulations
- Knowledge management of the solution
- Windows Hello for Business
- Conduct internal assessments and analyse the results at least once each year about the 'health check' of the directory services environment
- Participate in vendor selection, contract negotiation with technology vendors and service providers
- Responsible for maintaining and transitioning the design and configuration changes to the operations team
- Act as escalation point for major incidents and guide operations team in resolving active incidents
- Clearly and confidently communicate technical concepts and risks to senior decision-makers across the organization

**Minimum Requirements**:
**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- University degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering or information technology or another relevant field
- Certification or accreditation in Information Security (CISM, CISA, CISSP, MS Azure, ITIL, etc.)
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- At least 10 years of experience in directory services; Experience in running directory Services in a highly regulated environment
- Experience/knowledge of IAM technical skills, e.g.: Azure, Active Directory, systems hardening, networking (LAN, WAN), etc.
- Prior experience in implementing and operating large scale enterprise-wide directory services
- Knowledge of Azure AD Connect/Azure AD Connect cloud sync
- Solid understanding of secure authentication protocols
- Basic knowledge of PKI
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry is considered a plus
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills ability to develop influential relationships with different stakeholders across all levels
- Experienced people leader with the ability to lead and develop teams across geographies, internal employees as well as external staff
- An entrepreneurial mindset driven by curiosity, continuous improvement, and interest in technical advancements and IAM trends
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and properly delegate work
