**Where will you be based and what business will you support?**

Based in Barcelona, Spain; you will join a challenging and unique large-scale Transformation Program with high impact and visibility.

**How can you help us?**

As an IT Architect, you will:

- Provide technical leadership and initiative to deliver new and complex, high quality solution designs in response to varying business requirements
- Take ownership of non-functional requirements specifications, including but not limited to performance, availability, resilience, budget, and regulatory compliance
- Communicate the solution to ensure stakeholders and management understand it to the appropriate level of detail
- Challenge and validate/define the scope to ensure that businesses can take the right decisions for the organization.
- Support and contribute to the presentation of decision-making material for top-management.
- Drive product evaluation and selection of new IT Infrastructure products to meet strategic business initiatives.
- Engage with vendors and build development plans to drive technology certification and innovation.
- Provide guidance on technical topics within Infrastructure/solutions maintaining a concise catalogue of Building Blocks (BBs) to provide a common platform.

**Are you our kind of extraordinary?**

You have:

- A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
- 15+ years of experience in IT projects.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as Solution/Cloud/Infrastructure Architect for a major IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects, preferably in international context
- Experience with on premise/ multi cloud hybrid environments (Azure /AWS/ GCP)
- Demonstrated capacity to design architectures (significant decisions, roadmap, logical/physical viewpoints, etc..) and general technical documentation
- Expertise in one or more of the following domains: Infrastructure/technology Architecture, SOA style and principles, Domain-driven design, REST, knowledge of different architecture/design techniques (i.e., Object Oriented, Top-down, structured analysis, component-based design).
- Minimum 3 years of general experience in Multi Cloud Environments (Azure/ AWS/ GCP)
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, software delivery processes and related tooling. In particular Azure DevOps, Octopus, Artifactory
- Enterprise Architecture framework knowledge (i.e., TOGAF, Zachman etc.).
- Knowledge of core Microsoft products/services and O365 services
- Experience in designing Cloud/IaaS/PaaS/Serverless architectures, in particular
- Containers, Kubernetes
- Database platforms, Database solutions, Cloud managed databases, relational databases, NoSQL
- Infrastructure as a Code using Terraform/Ansible
- Experience in the infrastructure and cloud platform space, covering a wide range of technologies, such as but not limited to:

- Microsoft Windows and Linux server operating systems
- System management, backup and monitoring tools

- Strong stakeholder management skills (collaboration, partnership development) and ability to influence architecture, technology, and design decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks concurrently and effectively, while identifying ambiguity and driving for clarity.
- Ability to quickly learn new business, technical domains and quickly adapt to a complex distributed organization
- Initiative and independence - volunteers readily; Asks for and offers help when needed
- Patient & friendly attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to motivate and influence others

**What else should I know?**
- Experience at the Enterprise architecture level or equivalent is a plus
- Vendor specific solution architect certification(s) such as Azure/AWS/GCP is a plus
- TOGAF, Microsoft, Google and network certification are a plus
