Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed **an exclusive program (DISCOVER) **designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a **Master **, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to **DISCOVER **the skills most in demand today. It will be combined **with an 11 month internship at Airbus **in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early Oct 2023, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

**Internship Description**

The **Facility Management and Real Estate **department is in charge of the management of AIRBUS properties and services.

Among its functions we can highlight space optimization policies, coordination of construction or renovation projects, contracting of products and services related to the proper functioning of the facilities, as well as their maintenance and conservation, or the development of corporate strategies regarding the real estate resources.

Facility Management is one of the major contributors, based on its management, of the impacts of AIRBUS sustainability policies and, therefore, a key area in the company's strategy.

**Project object**

The objective of the project is to improve the sustainability of the **Illescas plant **, in three fundamental lines of action:

- Consumption analysis ofenergy & water with monitoring and adjustment proposals.
- Digitization of energy activities project.
- Central analyzer interconnection project.

**Current situation and needs plan**

The plant is currently in a transitory process of increasing activities, which implies the need to optimize their conditions through control, monitoring and optimization. All this in order to achieve the commitments and sustainability objectives established by its Management, as well as its management and certification systems.

**Analysis of available data**

In order to develop the improvement plans that start from the previous point, there are data collection systems and control equipment for water, energy, gas and waste. In addition to teams and KPIs dedicated to monitoring and analyzing the data for their treatment.

**Study of**:

- Analysis of water consumptionand proposals monitoring and optimization. The plant is monitored by buildings with exceptions, detecting water losses that are not collected in meters or meters whose operation or data collection does not match reality. For this reason, a sustainable optimization and monitoring solution is required.
- Central analyzer interconnection project. By analyzing existing data, it is intended to connect centrally to the airbus data lake.
- Digitization of energy activities project. By studying theanomalies of communication / activities, as well as the optimization of the different types of consumption, it is intended to implement the necessary improvements that lead to a more digital and automated service. Consequently, decisions could be made for a sustainable service that meets more expectations than currently.

Proposal for the implementation of a predictive algorithm (neural network)

Once all the activities ofanalysis Previously, the "As Is" study and the proposal of an improvement project are required to reach "To Be" through an artificial neural network that helps prevent leaks, as well as possible improvements in current equipment and repair proposals.
