Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.

You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.

The start of the internship will be in early Oct 2023, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.

**Internship Description
We are searching a trainee to support our transnational Industrial Composite Manufacturing Technology Team, which is responsible for Developing and Industrializing of new composite technologies and processes for Airbus Aircraft components. We are a transnational team based in the four core countries of AIRBUS and steering the Manufacturing Engineering developments and improvements for composite manufacturing processes.

We are searching for a trainee interested in the following functions:

- Industrialization of new Fiber lay-up machine in the scope of the A350XWB Wing Covers, including trials preparation, analyzes, implementation support on the shop floor, exchanges with suppliers and the dedicated tooling and logistics needed, support exchanges with Engineering departments to secure secure implementation, etc.
- Developing and improvement of composite materials used in our Aircraft components, including the understanding of composite material manufacturing, characteristics and properties, dissemination of changes to the supply chain
- Developing new processes for an End-to-End approach for lay-up technologies for our next Aircraft generation, including trials support, machine development, process analyzes and improvements
- Project management for improvement projects, including schedules, budgets, Risk & Opportunity management and other project management methods

**Required skills**

The mindset in our team is very team oriented with open communication and creative spirit. Therefore we are searching for a person with the following requirements:

- Degree in Engineering or related, with material and industrial interests and education.
- Engagement in technical challenges and interest to learn more about Composite Industrial Manufacturing.
- Advanced level of English (C1 level) and Spanish.
- Good communication skills, creative mindset, learning orientation and proactive attitude
