**Responsibilities**:
The Société Générale Group has been in Spain since 1906 offering retail banking products until 1992. Since 1992, the Group changed its focus to Corporate and Investment Banking, Asset Management and Banking Services. Today, the Group is one of the major actors on the Spanish market.

**Mission**:
Compliance Officer covering compliance activities of the Branch

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Be an expert on KYC, AML and Sanctions and Embargoes
- Provide advice to the business lines, KYC teams and central department in connection with the on-boarding or review of counterparties
- Analyze the risk level rate of clients based on factors such as geography and nature of the business
- Analyze transaction history and information about the account holder to spot potential risks or lack of coherent transactions
- Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and sanctions and embargoes rules, a compliance analyst must understand and seek all required customer information.
- Contribute to local or central projects and initiatives
- Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (ie Anti-Money Laundering, CNMV standards)
- Monitoring of internal controls

**Profile required**:
**Studies & experience**:

- Degree in Law is requested, any additional studies in Compliance will be valued
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Compliance in a financial entity, consultancy or audit company

**Language skills**:

- Fluency in Spanish & English
- French will be a plus

**Technical, operational & Soft skills**:

- High analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Good approach to risk understanding
- Ability to deal with the BL (compliance clients)
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- Responsibility
- Team spirit
