GTO (Global Trade Operations) is an entity within CIB ITO Global Banking Operations that serves Trade Finance operations on behalf of the Group.

Its scope of intervention is global, on all sites that propose to operate Trade Finance transactions, i.e., in Domestic Core Businesses (BCEF, Fortis, BGL, BNL) as in the CIB regions and Europe Mediterranée.

Within GTO, the Organisation team (Global Traditional Trade Organisation) carries out projects around process optimisation and create an operational structure for traditional trade products (Letters of Credit, International Guarantees).

As Finance Controller Senior within Global Traditional Trade Organisation (GTTO), your job will be to monitor the budget at GTO level, to follow up the invoicing process with the Platforms in Madrid and India and to follow up the budget of all projects managed by GTTO team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Monitoring the budget in your scope, to follow up its monthly evolution and to report formally to the management in GTTO and GTO.

Collecting, analysing and synthesizing budget data from different GTO departments.

Producing budget summary documents, formalize and edit a complete package that will serve as a guide throughout the year.

Monitoring monthly costs and Budget vs Forecast vs Actuals reconciliation using Controllership methods and establish monthly provisioning plan in interaction with Controllership teams in Spain and India and Procurement teams in Paris.

Calculating the GTO allocation keys (ensure they are up to date and well documented) and the allocation of costs allocated to the business lines.

Interaction with many teams: ITO Global Banking teams in central and regions, the Trade Finance Competency Centre teams, the Finance teams in central and those of the services centre of Madrid and Mumbai for cost monitoring & budget exercise, the teams of the central Project Office in charge of the budget monitoring/reporting tool, the procurement teams for the provisions processes, the heads of Operations in the platforms.

Participate in the development of summary financial documents and present them in the ad hoc committees.

Participate in the animation of the ITO Trade Finance budget community (for the budget year, to disseminate best practices towards the TFOL project teams, etc.).

Ensure a close relationship with the many contributors explained above.

**REQUIREMENTS**

Finance/budget experience is required

Consulting experience would be a plus

Fluency in English

Knowledge on UCP 600, ISBP 745, URR 725 and URC 522

Knowledge of ICC Opinions

Knowledge on various regulations connected with Trade Finance Operations

Knowledge of general accounting rules, mastering specific accounting rules for documentary operations

Familiarity with Banking Back Office Operations, Processes and Systems
