**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You coordinate and contribute to engineering activities related to mechanical design across all project phases from inception to conception, ensuring a timely, functional and cost-effective execution.
- Furthermore, you are responsible for compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
- You lead the technical alignment between external technology suppliers and internal experts for mechanical equipment.
- Moreover, you consult our internal customers in technology and operation to ensure the implementation of their requirement.
- In the course of your work, you create and review technical data sheets for key mechanical equipment.
- You plane, coordinate and execute large units in the field of solids handling.
- You accompany design trials.
- Last but not least, you also support and coordinate the construction as well as commissioning efforts and ensure quality is met by planning, supervising and conducting manufacturing control activities and acceptance tests as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree in mechanical engineering and several years of experience in the field of mechanical engineering with focus on equipment design for several types of equipment (prior solids handling equipment experience is considered a plus).
- Alternative to mechanical engineering: Process engineering with focus on mechanical process engineering and solids handling.
- Proven experience in project execution and its phases for investment projects as well as the knowledge of the necessary deliverables for each phase.
- Solid and proven knowledge of machinery directive and pressure vessel directive as well as experience in coordinating engineering activities, consulting of internal customers and interface management with internal and external parties.
- English languages are required. Spanish and German language skills are considered a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, collaboration and collaborative skills in interdisciplinary and international teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently and for an assignment abroad: projects design phases and/or execution will take place in different locations in Spain and globally
