We are looking for a **Plant Process Engineer (Career Development Program 2023)** based in **Tarragona **to give process and project support to the various plants in the area (ASU, HYCO, CO2, N2O). There will be a variety of projects assigned ranging from calculations and documental work to site studies, projects and plant efficiency studies. Due to the nature of plant roles, workload priorities will often change during the assignment.

**As the Process Engineer (CDP Program) you will**:

- Provide process engineering design across a range of technologies including Air Separation, HYCO, CO2 and Generated Gases.
- Review designs or technical documentation developed by external engineering companies/vendors, ensuring that they meet Air Products requirements for safety, operability and reliability.
- Work closely with the Plant Project Organisation to ensure process deliverables are identified and produced in line with the project schedule.
- Collaborate with other plant process engineers, plant operations and the business area to manage the complexities of executing projects on operating assets whilst maintaining business continuity.
- Work closely with the various technical disciplines: Controls, piping, machinery, process safety etc, to ensure accurate transfer of information and to manage technical changes during the design process.
- Participate in the hazard review process and safety evaluations for plant modifications.
- Provide technical support for Operational Readiness Inspections (ORI), commissioning, start-up and performance testing.
- Assist with productivity initiatives, including plant assessments, to identify opportunities and assess benefits.
- Support proposal activities, develop process hours estimates and provide operations input to the Air Products engineering organisation.

The rotational assignments are crafted to develop your technical and professional skills, accelerate your learning, test your creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, throughout your rotations and get a better understanding of your areas of interest, strengths, and career aspirations. The objective is, after three assignments, for you to have gathered a broad knowledge of our organisation and to further develop your career within Air Products on the long term.

**What we are looking for**:

- You are in your final year or graduated within last two (2) years from a university, with strong academic performance.
- Years of experience not more than 2 years.
- Mechanical (industrial) or chemical engineer background or a business degree.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and able to be a team player.
- Creativity.
- Self-accountability: able to work with limited supervision.
- Eager to learn and strategic thinker.
- Fluent in Spanish and English. Any other language will be a plus.
